COILOVER SPRINGS
Draco’s coilover springs are available in various internal diameters, and a wide array of heights and rates. Draco’s coilover springs are lighter and travel further than the competition with the most linear rates. Draco’s coilovers bend and bow less due to industry-leading precision in manufacturing.
Draco’s 3” & 3.5” ID springs provide a superior alternative to barrel springs by providing less bowing and a more even coil gap, while delivering similarly increased travel and stability. Choose a larger diameter spring to get more travel and higher load capacity for a given height with less bowing at high travel.
FRONT SPRINGS
Draco offers a full line of high-performance conventional front springs designed for the short track market. Designed for most linear rates and high travel, Draco’s front springs outperform the competition. Contact us for NASCAR, ARCA and coil bind applications.
LEGEND CAR SPRINGS
Draco’s 1.875” internal diameter coilover springs are the lightest on the market with the highest travel. While popular for Legends Cars, these springs also work well for many smaller race cars such as Bandoleers, Dwarfs, Midgets, Mod Lights and Micro-Sprints.
REAR SPRINGS
Designed for short track applications, Draco’s conventional 5” outside diameter rear springs are designed for maximum travel and minimum weight. Contact us for NASCAR, ARCA and coil bind applications.
BUMP SPRINGS,
RETAINERS & BUSHINGS
Draco’s bump springs are designed for the highest performance within the packaging requirements. Built to withstand the harshest environments, the Draco DC series will not lose height or rate from being coil bound and will not side-load or shear the shock shaft.
Utilizing Draco’s proprietary retainer systems, bump spring hardware components can be used on different brand shocks and shaft diameters.
Used with the integral Penske Shocks coilover spring retainer, bump spring changes can be performed without removing the shock eyelet.
6TH COILS & DROOP CHAIN SPRINGS
6th Coil: Draco’s 6th coil springs are the most compact on the market. Designed to control extension in the toughest environments of dirt late model and modified lift bars, these springs allow for more compact and lighter packaging while delivering top performance.
Droop Chain: Based on hundreds of hours of data acquisition testing, our droop chain springs were optimized and built to control left rear extension on dirt late models and modified. Draco’s droop springs are the highest and most compact available that provide suitable load capacity to prevent coil bind.
Locker Springs: Draco’s locker springs are the toughest and longest lasting springs available for Detroit style lockers. Available in different preload forces, these springs hold the ratchet mechanism inside of the differential. Choose a stiffer rate for more resistance from freewheeling when off throttle.

CUSTOM/SA86 SPRINGS
Don’t see what you’re looking for? We have a solution! Draco can design and build custom springs in any size, rate or quantity. You can supply the design or you can work with our custom spring department to develop a spring with characteristics specific to your needs. Our custom spring department can design coil bind and controlled travel applications, ultra-lightweight designs and springs with precise dimensional requirements. Custom springs are available in both standard material or our super-premium SA86 exotic metal. Draco Spring Manufacturing can turn springs around in as little as three days!
Draco’s premier coil spring material, known as SA86, is an exotic alloy exhibiting higher mechanical strength and toughness for the most demanding applications. Coupled with Draco’s engineering expertise, SA86 springs are designed to be lighter and handle more load than a comparable standard material spring. Safe-to-solid SA86 springs can travel further and sustain more load before coil bind, and will not lose height as a result of coil binding. Ultra-lightweight, peak load capacity SA86 springs are the lightest on the market and can be built lighter than titanium springs!
